Eriksson, who scored the winning goal for Denmark, said in a post-match interview that this was a milestone for the individual in the national team, and the victory over England at Wembley was a great feeling.
Eriksen said: "Now there is a special feeling. First of all, my 100th game (on behalf of Denmark), and the victory over England at Wembley. I only knew before the game that we had in the past 37 years. I’ve never done it before. So it’s great to win here."
Regarding the penalty kick, Eriksson said: "As I said to Pickford after the game, 8 of 10 penalty kicks were taken to both sides, so I have to make some changes. From I wanted to go straight to the middle from the beginning."
